]]>To create the map above, Google Trends ranked the top five most searched comfort foods across the U.S. during last winter. The map shows the most-searched-for term among those top five food terms.
Last winter, it seems, most of America was hungering for pork chops. However, Oregon searched for lasagna and Utah for chocolate chip cookies, while California and much of the east coast were firmly meatball territory.

Almost all of them, with the exception of Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz, would have earned more making the minimum wage when they were 16 than minimum wage workers do today.
