    <summary><![CDATA[<p>Even though August is traditionally holiday time, we've been flat out for the whole month and this week is no different! Some of us are looking forward to taking our hard earned holidays in a few weeks, but until then it's full steam ahead.</p>
<h2>What we've been up to this week</h2>
<p><a href="/blog/default.asp?Display=91">We announced</a> the start of a new project for Wexford based building costs analysis company  Price To Build a few weeks back - it's now nearing completion and is set to launch next week. Sneak peek of the site is below.</p>

Jaclyn started the company back in 2000 and from there we have grown and survived through it all. We're planning a Birthday Bash in Novemeber for all our great customers and friends, so stay tuned for the details to come soon.</p>

<p>Over the last 10 years, we have worked with so many great companies from all over the world and from a range of different sectors including media and entertainment, health, education, technology, security and the public sector. Through hard work and dedication, from all our team members, we have watched our client base grow.</p>
<p><a href="/blog/default.asp?Display=94"><img border="0" alt="" src="/blog/images/birthday.jpg" class="news_image" /></a></p><p>Technology and specifically the web is moving at a breakneck speed and here at Fireball Media we have always been keen to stay ahead of the pack. We love a challenge and it's always exciting to be part of this incredibly creative and ever changing industry.</p>
<p>From our humble beginnings, we have watched the internet grow into the global phenomenon it is today, offering services that people could only have dreamed of. Out went snail paced 56k modems and in came lightning quick broadband cables enabling us to bring rich content such as video and audio to users over the web.</p>
<p>This new web environment created a whole new type of user that demanded far more from the internet and as result designers and developers, including us, had to adapt and rethink many of their old ways. As for Social Media, with the likes of Facebook and Twitter gaining so many followers, nobody could have predicted such ground breaking popularity!</p>
<p>We can only guess what&rsquo;s next to come for the web, but whatever it is you can be certain that at Fireball Media we'll still be there at forefront, tackling it head on.</p>
<p>We would like to thank our clients and partners who have all helped to shape the company into what it is today and ensured our growth during the past 10 years. Hip Hip Hooray!</p>

    <summary><![CDATA[<p>No rest for the wicked this week at Fireball Media! We've been working hard on lots of different and exciting projects - getting stuck into new designs as well as making improvements to existing websites. We always love it when a client is interested in keeping their site up to date and making the most of the resources they have.</p>
<h2>What we've been up to this week</h2>
<p>After a week soaking up the sun and taking on Corsica's treacherous roads, Dom is back in the office and working hard on client projects. He's just putting the finishing touches on a new, improved navigation for <a href="http://www.jellyfish.ie" target="_blank">The EcoJel Project</a>. See the sneak preview below. The new navigaiton makes finding your way around this ever expanding site easy peasy!</p>

<p>Also in progress this week is the new website design for Limerick based solicitors <a href="http://www.fbk.ie" target="_blank">FB Keating + Co</a>. It's going to be a really nice modern site and a move away from the traditional solicitor's website, making their services accessible to everyone.</p>
<p>We can't wait for this project to launch but there's still a lot of work to be done...back to the grind stone after I publish this post!</p>

    <title><![CDATA[The Weekly Round-up August 13th 2010]]></title>

    <summary><![CDATA[<p>This week at Fireball Media has been relatively quiet.... Not due to lack of work thankfully but because resident hell-raiser, Dominick has been away in Corsica having a grand time. Of course we'd never be jealous, the weather in Cork this week has been glorious so we're quite content! So its Friday again and another week at Fireball Media nearly finished and here's what we've been keeping ourselves busy with this week...</p><h2>What we've been up to this week</h2>
<p>Work is now underway for the new Kartworld website. We've been putting lots of work into getting the design just right and now we're well into the site build. The site will use our very own <a href="/content_management.asp">Flow CMS</a> so this will make it really easy for Clive and the team to keep everything from prices to leader boards up to date. Other features include interactive maps of the 30 acre adventure centre as well as videos and photo galleries. All with the aim of showing the great experience you'll get at Kartworld.     <summary><![CDATA[<p>There are some subtle changes coming to your Facebook Page layout on August 23rd, but before  that Facebook has allowed administrators a sneak preview of what those changes will look like.</p>
<p>Have a look at the screen shot below and compare this to our  <a target="_blank" href="http://www.facebook.com/fireballmedia?v=app_6009294086">Facebook Page</a> as it is now.</p>

<p>At the moment the new layout is only visible to the administrator of the Page but is useful  to see what these changes will look like come August 23rd.</p>

<p>I was sceptical to begin with but I like the new layout now as it makes it more clear who's page you are on, gives you all the functionality up front and maintains consistency.</p>

<p>Launching just today is an exciting new website that aims to promote the unique energy efficent features of homes for sale. <a href="http://www.RenewIreland.ie" target="_blank">RenewIreland.ie</a> helps house sellers to promote their property and allows buyers to find the best rated houses in Ireland. It's a great new concept in the property market, which will help to promote energy efficency - saving everyone money and helping the environment - so it's been an exciting project to work on. Best of luck to Bryan and Deirdre who have put huge effort into making their idea a reality.</p>

We are also working on a new site for Jerry and Susan, so watch this space!</p>
<p>We're also doing two new projects for another brilliant customer of ours, <a href="http://www.fireballmedia.ie/client_testimonials.asp#futureshop" target="_blank">Russell Quigley</a>. Having completed the design for <a href="http://www.futureshop.ie" target="_blank">FutureShop.ie</a>, Russell has us working hard on two more sites which should be up and running before the end of the month.</p>
<p>In other news: Congratulations to the <a href="http://www.jellyfish.ie" target="_blank">Ecojel Project</a> who have now managed to successfully track five Lion&rsquo;s Mane Jellyfish for the first time! Lion's mane jellyfish are the most venomous jellyfish in the Irish Sea so well done to Tom and everyone involved. <br />
