Bruce Ohr a Senior Justice Dept official in Trump Russia probe hid Fusion GPS payments from his superiors and from required Justice Department ethics disclosures, according to exclusive reporting by Luke Rosiak for the Daily Caller News Foundation. Ohr is the senior Justice Department official who first brought the now infamous Trump Dossier to the FBI.
But Ohr couldn’t very well disclose that his wife was being paid by Fusion GPS or it presumably would have alerted the Justice Department that something far more sinister than ethics disclosures was afoot. Ohr never disclosed to the Justice Department that his wife worked for the private intelligence firm that was creating the Trump Dossier or that her employer had been paid millions of dollars by the Democratic National Committee (DNC) and the Clinton campaign to create the dossier. These facts are far more damning than his failure to disclose the money paid to his wife by Fusion.
The financial disclosure reports are used to identify potential or actual conflicts of interest. Ohr’s failure to disclose the money paid to his wife by Fusion GPS is a clear violation of Justice Department ethics disclosure requirements. The department’s guidelines state that employees should always seek the advice of an ethics official when contemplating any action that may be covered by the rules. If a conflict is found in an official’s ethics disclosures a remedy should be imposed immediately.
The law provides that whoever ‘knowingly and willfully’ fails to file information required by this report faces civil penalties up to $50,000 and possible criminal penalties up to one year in prison under the disclosure law and possibly up to five years in prison under 18 USC 1001,
Ohr also did not obtain a conflict of interest waiver from his superiors at the Justice Department according to documents obtained by The Daily Caller News Foundation. These concerns are likely the least of Ohr’s worries because his actions seem to put him in line for multiple felony prosecutions.
The Justice Department used the dossier that was created by Fusion GPS (with Ohr’s wife working on the project) to obtain a FISA warrant to wiretap Trump adviser Carter Page. The Justice Department didn’t disclose to the FISA judge that the Democratic National Committee and Hillary Clinton’s campaign had paid millions of dollars to Fusion GPS or that Ohr had a financial relationship with the firm that created it.
The fact pattern that is emerging proves that senior Obama Administration officials from the FBI, Justice Department and intelligence services conspired with Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign, the Democratic National Committee, and private intelligence firm Fusion GPS to prevent Donald Trump from ever being elected President by deploying US government intelligence and investigative agencies and assets against Trump.
When their conspiracy failed to stop Trump’s election, this Deep State cabal adjusted their strategy and began working to frame President Trump for colluding with Russia and for obstructing justice. Charges they believed, would lead to Trump’s impeachment or resignation. Failing that, they were confident their actions would, at a minimum, render President Trump mired in the swamp and ineffective.
Ethics Disclosure reports must be completed annually. In 2014 and 2015 Bruce Ohr stated that his wife was an independent contractor. In 2016 he prepared the reports differently because she had a new employer who paid her a salary, so he changed the nature of her income, but Ohr didn’t name the employer as was required.
Ohr also did not get a conflict of interest waiver from his supervisors, suggesting that he may not have explained to anyone the true source of the income. If a potential conflict is disclosed and explained to supervisors, a government agency can grant a conflict of interest waiver, known as a 208(b) waiver. In response to a records request, officials told TheDCNF, “There are no … waivers for this filer.”
Bruce Ohr was demoted shortly after Fusion GPS founder Glen Simpson testified before the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence that he had met with Bruce Ohr, a fact that Ohr had not previously disclosed. It was reported in December that Ohr had concealed his meetings with the firm from his supervisors, so Ohr has an established pattern of lying and ethics violations.
Ron Wyden, the Left-Wing Senate Democrat investigating sale of Trump property, is the ranking Democrat on the Senate Finance Committee. Wyden has written to Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin demanding the Treasury Department investigate the sale of a Palm Beach, Florida estate by Donald Trump ten years ago. Wyden, who holds the distinction of being the Senator most likely to be mistaken for a corpse, is a hyper-partisan leftist bomb-thrower.
While the investigation Wyden has demanded from the Treasury Department is not reasonably calculated to produce any meaningful information, he is nonetheless, demanding that Treasury disclose banking and real estate records associated with the ten-year-old real estate transaction.
Why is a Senator from Oregon interested in a ten-year-old real estate sale in Florida, you might ask? Because the buyer was a Russian, of course, and this is as close as the Democrats are ever going to get to prosecuting Donald Trump for colluding with the Russians.
As for Ron Wyden, he is a vacuous moron who has used the phony Trump Russia collusion scandal to launch himself into the media spotlight, much like Adam Schiff. As much as Wyden is enjoying the media attention, he knows all too well that this is as close as he will ever get to achieving his life-long dream of bringing down Donald Trump.
Wyden is using his 15 minutes to whip up the Democratic base ahead of the 2018 midterms, even though he knows there is no substance to the Trump investigation. However, because he has only a passing relationship with the truth, Wyden is perfectly positioned to lie to the left-wing base. So, with an air of moral superiority, Wyden acts as if he is close to the smoking gun that will finally take Trump down, and the left-wing media is more than happy to provide him with cover and legitimacy in his folly.
As for the property which is the subject of this article, Trump purchased it at a bankruptcy sale in 2004 for $45 million and sold it four years later for $95 million to Russian billionaire Dmitry Rybolovlev, earning himself a tidy profit in the process. It is precisely that profit which is the target of Wyden’s ire, probably because he is not a big believer in it.
President Trump did not hide the deal from the Senate Democrat investigating sale of Trump property. In fact, he disclosed the during the 2016 presidential campaign, describing it as one of the only deals he ever did involving a Russian. Much of the profit that has alarmed Senator Wyden can be attributed to the discounted price Trump paid for the property in bankruptcy.
Wyden is more inclined to believe that Trump colluded with the Russians ten years in advance. Not a very defensible theory.
“In the context of the President’s then-precarious financial position, I believe that the Palm Beach property sale warrants further scrutiny,” the left-wing Democrat wrote. “It is imperative that Congress follow the money and conduct a thorough investigation into any potential money laundering or other illicit financial dealings between the President, his associates, and Russia.”
Wyden, says “It is imperative that Congress follow the money and conduct a thorough investigation into any potential money laundering or other illicit financial dealings between the President, his associates, and Russia,” Wyden wrote in the letter to Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin.
In the letter, Wyden exposes himself as an idiot by stating that the deal occurred at a time that reports showed Trump had trouble finding banks to lend him money, a fact wholly unrelated to the transaction.
He also stated that the sale of the mansion happened a few months before Trump Entertainment Resorts filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. Once again, a fact that has no bearing on the sale the property or the Trump Russia collusion investigation.
Wyden, who behaves very much like the Senate version of Adam Schiff, is a member of the Senate Intelligence Committee, which is investigating President Trump’s alleged collusion with Russia in the 2016 election and whether the Trump campaign colluded with Russia to influence the outcome of the election. According to a Bloomberg, Rybolovlev is being looked at by special counsel Robert Mueller.
“The primary thing I did with Russia, I bought a house in Palm Beach at a bankruptcy … I bought it for about $40 million. I sold it for $100 million to a Russian,” Trump said in an ABC interview. “I never met him,” Trump added in an interview with Politico, referring to Rybolovlev. “He was represented by a broker. … I heard good things about him in many ways, and about his family. … He just happened to be from Russia. He’s a rich guy from Russia.”
Not surprisingly, CNN’s reporting on this matter goes significantly further as they cannot miss an opportunity to harm President Trump, and thus could not accept the fact that Trump had never met the Russian. A CNN article this morning reads, “Aside from the real estate deal, Rybolovlev’s general whereabouts have crossed paths with Trump’s a few times. Late in the 2016 presidential campaign that year, Rybolovlev’s plane intersected twice with Trump’s when it was spotted in two US cities where Trump was campaigning, in Charlotte, North Carolina, and in Las Vegas, according to McClatchy.
Trump spokesman and Rybolovlev have both said the two have never met in person. Rybolovlev says he was in the US on business and the overlaps were a “pure coincidence.” The Trump campaign said they weren’t even aware of the Russian’s presence, and why would they be. This was not a sufficient explanation for ace investigative reporter Rachel Maddow at MSNBC, who dedicated a number of on-air segments to reports of Trump’s airplane and Rybolovlev’s airplane being in the same city twice.
Rachel Maddow, who is frequently described as an angry little boy who is obsessed with getting Trump is certainly capable of outdoing even the most partisan left-wing Senate Democrat investigating sale of Trump property, as she exhibits in this video.

It is no surprise that Democratic Senator Chuck Schumer took the opportunity while delivering a speech at a Human Rights Campaign event this weekend to insult President Trump. In the speech, Schumer calls Trump most dangerous and worst man in history ever to be President of the United States.
Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) is a man with an almost pathological need to seek out television cameras. Schumer also has a well-documented history of whining and complaining about the President, a mixture of qualities that earned Senator Schumer the moniker Cryin’ Chuck Schumer.
Since being humiliated for his handling of the failed government shutdown in January, it seems that Schumer has also developed the propensity to personally insult President Donald Trump every time he gets the opportunity.
“We are dealing with probably the most dangerous and worst man in the presidency we have ever had in the history of this nation, but we are going to win the fight,” Schumer told the partisan crowd.
“If we can take back the Senate, that means that I will have the sole power to determine what goes on the floor of the Senate,” he added. “It means we’ll be able to stop Donald Trump from putting all his junk on the floor and stop the anti-LGBT cascade of things that come into the United States Senate.”
Schumer could not immediately cite any examples of what junk Trump is putting on the floor, nor could Schumer identify the anti-LGBT cascade of things that come into the Senate that Schumer will heroically stop. Then again, Schumer has long had only a passing relationship with the truth.
Although he has stated his total support for reaching a solution for the illegal aliens he calls Dreamers, you’d think that Schumer calls Trump most dangerous and worst man in history is probably a statement that is not reasonably calculated to lead to any kind of productive compromise with the President and Schumer is showing increasing hostility towards Trump since being humiliated by the Schumer Shutdown.
